Goodbyes are never easy.

I know I have blogged about the past two weeks of VBS. Those two weeks are the craziest weeks in my summer. During these two weeks, I had to say good bye to some of my favorite people.

I am a baby-sitter. I love kiddos and love their families. This family in particular was special to me. My mom taught their oldest daughter in school for the past two years. That is how I met the Rasmussen family. I baby sat for their five kiddos every once in a while but became very close with their family the past six months. I would stop by after-school, on the weekends...any chance I got to hang out with this family, I took it. Words cannot even describe how much I love them.

Over the past six months, Kirsten was not only a mom of the kiddos I babysat but a friend. She has the biggest heart and is always serving. We both love to talk so that is what we would do most days. Talk, talk, talk, change diapers, clean out the dishwasher, and well talk. I love talking to Kirsten. We have a whole lot in common, she is a mommy and I want to be a mommy someday(like 10 years). We are both very crafty and love our sewing machines very much. We love doing little girls hair. We LOVE to bake. We love to give gifts that are Pinteresty. We love Pinterest and Etsy. We love party-planning. There is a whole lot more I could think of. ;) Ammon is literally one of the funniest, caring men I have ever met. He is seriously so funny and so helpful. These two are the best role models. Even though life can be rough some days, they taught me to love through it and love each other and their kiddos. I LOVE YOU two!!!

 ETHAN
Ethan is little the nicest young man I have ever met. He is always willing to help. He is so thankful for everything. He is the best big brother to all of his little sisters. I can't wait to see what he does in the future because he is literally the sweetest boy I know.

 BRYNLEE
Ah, my Bryn girl. So pretty. So helpful. She is such a little mommy. She loves to play with everyone, she has a welcoming heart that I will miss. I would arrive at their house and most days Brynlee would be waiting in the drive way. She gives the best hugs. I feel like I have watched her grow up so much over the past two years.

HAILEY
That smile. Her joy. Oh, it gets me every time. Hailey is quiter than most of them but her heart, joy, and smile can fill up a room any minute. She is always having fun. She loves to play mommy too. Her heart is sensitive but so big. She is one of the friendliest girls I know. I love her  toothless smile right now :)
KARLI
This girl. Karli and I shared a special bond. She became my girl...probably because she is exactly like me when I was little. :) I love her laugh. Seriously, the cutest thing you will ever hear. Her spirit is so friendly. She is super out going and loud. (We are very similar!) Karli is so funny. We would play all these fun little games before I put her to bed or randomly and we couldn't stop! She also knows my ticklish spot (my feet!) and would love to "try-on" my shoes whenever I went over because she knew she could tickle them then. :)
PAISLEY
That little sneaky grin. Those eyes. My Paisley. I have watched Paisley grow up so much in the past six months. Walking and all :) She has even started to say some words which is super exciting. Paisley is my cuddle buddy. She loves to be wrapped in arms and cuddled. She also likes to run around and follow what ever her siblings do which is pretty adorable. I love her daring attitude. She loves everything...especially dirt. She is the world's best eater--she would win the Clean Plater Award.
MCKINLEY
My, oh my has this sweet little girl grown up over the past month and a half. I loved her from the beginning. When Kirsten was pregnant with McKinley, we would always talk about baby names and our excitement to meet this little girl. I was going to watch the kiddos the day she came into this world but she decided to come early...on Prom day actually! I was fortunate to meet this sweet little girl the day after she was born. I fell in love. McKinley and I became buddies since she was born. She likes being held and well, I like holding babies so we became a pretty good pair. I love when she opens her eyes when you say her name. Her little smile. Her cheeks that are SO cute. I will miss her being my baby.

Can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for them!!!
